I had seen this project first on and it reminded me of my mother - a recipe/scrapbook with all the family favorites and pictures mixed together. This is my interpretation:
This was made using an American Crafts 6x6 plain chipboard album which I covered with Die Cuts with a View Nan's Kitchen paper and American Crafts Flair buttons. I covered it with a layer of Mod Podge.
My favorite page from the album was this, a photo of my mother and I at my 1st birthday circa 1982:
I used a We R Memory Keepers sticker and distressed the background cutout with Tim Holtz Crackle paint, Distress Inks and Tattered Angels Glimmer mist.

I really enjoyed making this book - it was my first foray into a "mini-book" and I'm happy with the result. I gave the book to my mother for Mother's day.
